Day 27

Apologies for the lack of posts over the last two weeks especially to those who have donated to the cause, been busy but that's no excuse!
With three days to go the mo is looking pretty awesome, thought are now on how to bridge the gap between the two sides of the mo.  I'm ignoring all calls to shave it all off and start from scratch!

I've been putting some thought into what kind of moustache to grow next year (if I take part) I think that a trip away from the symmetrical could be the way forward, I think maybe a pipe shape could be pretty good, or possibly get some sponsorship from Nike by cultivating the Nike tick. The other option is to continue the maths/greek alphabet theme by trying to grow pi.

Had a trip out to the rugby yesterday (Gloucester vs Leicester) and there were a whole lot of awesome looking Mo's on show, though I'll be honest I was a little disappointed with the lack of mo's on the pitch.

It was our friend Emily's first ever live rugby match and she was treated to some choice words from the people of the shed towards the ref! (some of which was deserved!)

If anyone fancies donating more money that would be fantastic it's a real good cause, I've had a great time growing the tash and having a subtle nod towards all other mo'ers.

Hopefully the time-lapse will be awesome.

Day 12

Well it has been an eventful week, all was growing nicely when on wednesday I was informed by Gray Davies, another mo'er, that my beautifully crafted facial hair was in fact illegal according to the laws of movember. Yep there are laws to Movember, one of which is moustaches cannot join with sideburns.

I was left with little choice but to shave some of my adjoining hair. below are the results.
I think  the omega moustache could be the facial fashion statement of the season!!

Cheers for all of the support so far, but keep those donations coming. (I'm off to try and create some kind of timelapse.)

day 9

The moustache is growing nicely now, my face appears to be toughening up to the every other day shaving and not having the insulation around my chin!.

A plus side of the lack of beard I appear to be eating my food better, very few spills down the chin now!

Here's the current look.

Day 6

Been a while since my last post the mo is progressing nicely. Last friday I made some awesome ginger moustaches as can been see here!
This is hopefully what the mo'll look like!!

In other news we were stuck in the M5 car park this afternoon, I could literally feel my moustache growing as we crawled forward inch by inch.

I'm off to have another shave i'm not loving having to do this every couple of days.

Day 0

So that's it I've mown my face and all that's left is to grow a Mo.

My face looks funny having not seen it for 10 years I should have guested that it would! Kat was proper freaked out last night when I took the clippers to my glorious beard and even this morning was wondering where Andy had gone.

I've got to say I'm not sure how men can manage without a beard, I'm getting coffee and milk running down my chin where once my ginger mass would have stopped it and my face is now cold all the time!

Jeanine has suggested I try to document this month with time-lapse picture so I'll try to take a photo in the same place every morning and make some sort of horrific home movie at the end of the month.

This is my new look

If the though of me with some form of mo makes you feel generous please donate to the mo fund through the link below.

Cheers Andy
